I truly care about the children I look after and always lead with patience, kindness, and warmth. I've been caring for kids since 2012, with hands-on experience with children ages 6M - 14, and I'm comfortable adjusting to different routines, personalities, and stages. I believe kids thrive when they feel safe, seen, and encouraged to be themselves. I'm nurturing, patient, and creative, and I love connecting with children through play, art, music, movies, outdoor time, and simply being present with them-especially during big emotions or quiet moments when they just need support. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, and respectful of each family's rules and preferences. I'm happy to help with daily routines and child-related tasks, and I value clear, honest communication. I'm hoping to find a family I can truly blend with and support long-term. Making children feel cared for and giving parents peace of mind is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

Hi, families! My name is menahil and I am a medical school graduate . I have over 6 years of experience caring for children, ranging from newborns to teenagers, many of whom I have met through Care and while tutoring. I was a Sunday School teacher for few years before moving to Buffalo. Not only that, i also got to babysit with special needs. Children are such a joy and it has been a privilege to work with many families. While I value safety, it is also important to me that kids simply have fun in a creative, loving environment. I enjoy all aspects of childcare, but I especially enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor play, and reading.

I’m 33 years old and blessed with three amazing nieces who truly feel like my own children. They’re 6 months old, 4, and 10, and spending time with them has only deepened my love for caring for kids. My passion started when I was a little girl helping my mom with her at home daycare, and it has stayed with me ever since. I’ve been a certified nanny in New York and New Jersey for 7 years, and I’ve babysat throughout high school, college, and even now. I’m currently looking for a part time nanny position where I can bring warmth, creativity, and joy into a family’s home. I love getting to know what each child enjoys and making every day feel fun and special. Whether it’s playing outside, doing puzzles, making arts and crafts, reading storybooks, singing, dancing, or going on adventures to the zoo, SMOP, or the library, I’m all in. I also enjoy cooking tasty treats, healthy meals, and comforting favorites. I have room in my car for one extra car seat and I’m very comfortable with busy schedules, running errands, cooking, cleaning, and helping with planning family gatherings. I’m naturally organized, great with time management, and love keeping a household running smoothly and happily. I would be excited to meet a wonderful family and help create a safe, playful, and loving environment for your little ones.

I love being a sitter because I see it as my chance to share with children the struggles I have gone through and try to explain to them how they can avoid those same struggles. Not everything will stick, and they’ll forget every other word I ever said, but sometimes just sometimes I pray that something that I said to them makes a difference or gives them consolation in hard times. Childhood is supposed to be a happy joyful time but the reality is that life rarely lets children just be children. They have to deal with death, with stress, and with parents losing jobs, and with people around them dying, with moving schools frequently as many kids do, with bullies seemingly to replicate faster than they can be stamped out, with perhaps not looking the same as their friends in one or more ways that really bothers them…usually too fat or too thin. I think every adult that interacts with a child that they care about has a sacred duty to try to share their life experience/lessons/strategies and relate it in a way that a child can understand and apply in her own life. Such as, I might say never start a fight but once they start it, make sure you finish it and win big enough that people won’t forget, so that hopefully no one will want to fight again. I love trying to share my life experience by bringing it to their level in a way that they can understand exactly how you, as a teacher/parent/babbysitter, felt when it happened to your younger self. That’s how connections are formed, and teachers/babysitters/parents who can form connections with their kids are always the favorite of all the kids - and usually the kids’ parents’ favorites too. Not just because they learn the most and retain it the longest, but because it made learning fun and maybe most importantly, it made it relational, in the sense that it forces us to relate to other people as human beings, something that seems to be a utmost difficulty in today’s society. It meant something to every part in that classroom -the children, the teachers, and the parents. I personally enjoy being near children for a more selfish reason than just teaching them what they can use to survive. It reminds me that while children are part of the world, the world cannot be all bad, that and there is still time to hope that the human race is not destined for catastrophic failure. Somehow I believe they are our answer to end violence, wars, drugs, starvation, madness.

I’m easy going and have had 2 prior long term nanny jobs so I have lots of experience! Please contact me if you think we would be a good fit. :) Thank you!
