Hi! I am Emma Viggiani. I currently live in Rochester, NY, and I am a middle school ENL teacher in Brighton. I graduated from Niagara University in 2023 with my degree TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with a minor in dance. I am currently working on my masters degree in Literacy from SUNY Brockport. I have worked with children since I was little and absolutely love the education field. I have a lot of experience working with students at my job, in after school programs, volunteering, and being an assistant in primary, elementary, middle and high schools. I love creating fun activities for children of all ages, specifically ones that get them away from the screens and immersed with the activity and the people around them. Going outside and enjoying nature is also important and something I would do when it is nice out!

I am the oldest of eight children and have been involved in childcare since the age of 10. Through these years of hands-on experience, I have learned that children are precious and deserve the highest level of care, attention, and compassion. As the oldest sibling, I regularly took part in household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, and babysitting, which helped shape my strong sense of responsibility and nurturing nature. Currently, I work part-time in childcare at the YMCA, where I help manage both the Child Watch department staff and the children in our care. I primarily work with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and I also have experience caring for school-aged children. I am kind, compassionate, attentive, and gentle, and I strive to ensure that every child feels loved, safe, and valued at all times.
