Hi, my name is Jordan Bulger! I am 23 years old. I have been a babysitter since I was 13 years old starting with my cousins. I grew up with the nickname, baby whisperer. At the age of 16 I started working for school-age childcare at the YMCA until the age of 20. During that time I also did the YMCA summer camp two years in a row. For the past three years, I have been a nanny for two families and also have been doing babysitting jobs on the side with other families as well. I have a degree in forensic psychology and counseling. From the degree it gave me the skills of learning how to work with different age groups on an emotional level. Learning how to diffuse situations and to validate the feelings of children. I am extremely organized and I love to clean. I do have a car so if travel is necessary I am more than happy to do that. I’m perfectly comfortable with animals. I have plenty of experience working with different age groups starting at new borns to 12 years of age due to working at the YMCA and also with all the different families that I’ve worked for through the years through babysitting and nannying. I make it a priority to create a safe space for children and also create a healthy relationship with the parents I work for so that they know that their child is in the best care possible.

Hi I’m mariyah I’m a single mom to a little boy. I am the oldest of 13 kids and have several experiences with children of all ages from infant up. I grew up taking care of my siblings as well as completing early childhood education, watching children for several families, infant/ toddler/preschool teacher at daycares. I have my cpr/first aid certifications.

I have 29 ECE credits in early childhood education. Education ESM High School-Local Diploma Onondaga Community College- Associates Degree in Human Services specializing in Child Care. Experiences High School Junior year student taught kindergarten. Senior year student taught first grade and kindergarten. 2rd year college was placed with toddlers-one semester 3rd year was placed in more my focus point which was with pre-school. Also did lots of volunteer work through high school with older children for family and activity nights throughout the year. Skills: - Lots of childcare experience with relatives and children around me at my job always seem to make them laugh and be happy. - Love to sing and dance so I have a cheery personality when I'm around kids. - I like to be around and work with many different people-have people skills. - I like to keep busy and active and like to be doing things like keeping children busy and being active. I am currently a graduate student studying music at DePaul. I have worked as a violin teacher and as a babysitter and nanny. As a babysitter I prefer to play boardgames, do crafts, read books or go for walks and avoid TV and/or iPad time. I am comfortable preparing meals.
