My first love and passion is to care for, teach and bring the best out in each child.  I feel it takes time to study and know each individual's gifts and capability in order to bring the best out in each one.  I am looking for a long term childcare position to assist a family in the upbringing of their child(children) in a setting where my skills and experience would benefit the entire family.  I have some experience with foster parenting and special needs.  I have over 25 years experience working with children of all ages and abilities.  I have my Childhood Development Associate for Early Education and Childhood Development.  I am CPR/First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross and formerly taught Pre-K.  I believe a balanced combination of love, discipline and play brings the best out in a child.  I believe it takes a village to raise a child and I am available to come to your home.

I have been babysitting for about six years now, with an additional year’s experience as a certified childcare worker at a group home and over a year as a youth support specialist. I previously worked as an assistant childcare director prior to my current work in human services. I have completed numerous trainings regarding proper child care, such as strength-based perspectives, trauma informed care, and social and emotional development in early childhood. I have worked with kids of all ages, toddlers to teens, and I have additional experience with babies. Working with those kids allowed me to grow and mature into a compassionate, responsible, patient, and understanding individual. It also allowed for me to gain some experience working with children diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the Red Cross. Well, my names Brielle but you can call me Brie if its easier. I am 23 years old and have been babysitting/ a nanny for a little over 10 years now. I am outgoing as ever, caring, fun. reliable. and love kids! I love arts & crafts, dancing, singing, reading, playing outdoors and doing fun things indoors on days its too bad to go outside. I don't like sitting in front of the TV because that is what most kids do now a days but i try to stay away from that. Its usually two shows then onto the next thing. Where most of my experience comes from is my 9 year old niece. My sister had her when she was 20 so she could use all the help she could get. Anytime she needed me i was there. I can change diapers, make bottles, meal prep, run errands if needed, pick up and drops off as well. I have been driving for 3 years with a clean driving record. Never been in a car accident or pulled over. I love my job because kids make me so happy!

I’m an 18-year-old college student majoring in Finance and Accounting and a college volleyball player. I personally love children even though they can be a hand full sometimes, working with them and as they learn along brings me positivity and joy. They can be upset some days but you have to give them their little space and make them forget about what they are upset about by doing fun activities with them or maybe just a smile on their face well make them forget that they were just upset.

I recently completed an online first aide and CPR certification (can provide documentation via online while I wait for paper copy to be delivered by mail). * I do not have my own vehicle at the moment but do have reliable transportation.
