I have a bachelors degree an early childhood education that I received from Buffalo State College. Right after college I became a nanny for my first family, They were two week old, twin boys. The next family I worked for had three older children and newborn twin girls and later had another little boy. The next family also had twin girls who were six months old and two older children. After that, I became a personal assistant and took care of a large mansion along with the occupants. I then started my own family and just over the last 2 years, started working again. Most recently, I worked for a family with four children, ages eight and under, one who is developmentally challenged. I have my own two children, one is 16 and one is 14 , one of which is also developmentally challenged. I love working with children, watching them grow and helping them to make good decisions about being kind to others, learning to use their skills in their everyday activities. I thoroughly enjoy working with families and helping people to live the most enjoyable life they can. I’ve worked with the elderly, handicapped, and I’ve done a large range of things from taking care of a mansion, to running errands large and small.

I was a stay-at-home mom that recently went back to work overnight. It's been a rough transition for my family and I've realized that being home more is best for our family. I would like however, to watch another child so that my daughter has someone to play with and so I can still help to contribute to our family's income. My daughter is 2.5, very bright, talkative and loves to run, jump and go down slides. We live in a trailer in a quiet country park, where the kids would have 2 play rooms and the living room to play in. We've got a large play kitchen, bounce house, ball pit, educational toys, books and musical instruments to play with. We plan on homeschooling so I'd like to purchase a new educational toy each month to contribute to their learning. My daughter does better with older children that are conversational and like pretend play. So my ideal situation is to find a child to watch in the 3-5 year old range that she can grow up with. Perhaps someone whose parents were also planning on homeschooling but cant afford to lose income by staying home. I plan on having half the day be structured learning/play and the other half free play. I feel I should also mention that we have chosen, through careful investigation, not to vaccinate. We're comfortable with whatever your family chooses, but we'd like your family to be comfortable with ours as well. We plan on purchasing a home next year in the area, so hopefully it will be more spacious than the trailer, in case that was a concern of yours. I'd like to charge $5 an hour, but we can talk about the price a bit depending on how many hours you'd need care for your child. Ideally I'd love a situation where everyone felt like extended family, where our kids became bffs.
