Hi! My name is Yahannie, but I go by Curly. I’m a soon to be 27 years old and I am currently enrolled at Center for allied Health Education(BK) for Diagnostic Medical Sonography for the OB/GYN. I have been working with children since the age of 15. I truly love working with children and building meaningful connections with the families I support. I have experience creating fun, engaging extracurricular activities and developing age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning through play. Whether it’s arts and crafts, creative games, homework help, or outdoor activities, I strive to make each day both structured and enjoyable. In addition to my childcare background, I have experience working in as a camp counselor, an after school counselor and Youth Peer Advocate at the Jewish board which focuses on mental health. These roles has helped strengthened my patience, responsibility, and compassion when caring for others. I love dancing, sports, video games, and I’m also an artist — so if your little ones enjoy being creative and active, we’ll get along perfectly! I would describe myself as loving, empathetic, dependable, and compassionate. My goal as a nanny is to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel supported, happy, and encouraged to grow.

Yahannie was warm, engaging, and wonderful with our children. She connected quickly with our toddlers, was attentive to their needs, and demonstrated a thoughtful, child-centered approach to caregiving. She was flexible, communicative, and eager to learn our family's routines and preferences. We especially appreciated her positive attitude, willingness to accept feedback, and genuine enthusiasm for working with children. We are excited to have her join our family and would confidently recommend her to others!

Hello! I am a retired Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant with 20 years of experience working for the NYC Board of Education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and am also a proud mother of two. My driver's license is clean, and I am CPR certified. I have a genuine love for children and extensive experience working with special needs kids. Patience, care, and nurturing are qualities I pride myself on. I have significant classroom experience as well as tutoring backgrounds. I have experience working with infants and toddlers. I have worked part-time at a Montessori school with toddlers aged 18 months to three years. I find this age group particularly fascinating, and I thoroughly enjoy working with these young children. I possess extensive experience in feeding and supervising their naps. The two-year-old stage is a critical period, during which they acquire communication skills and assimilate new knowledge. Additionally, I am comfortable with pets and can help with walking them if required. Currently, I am working part-time with two sisters, ages five and six. My responsibilities include picking them up from school, taking them to various activities, entertaining them, and preparing dinner when necessary. I am also currently working with a three-year-old girl who is speech-impaired and has some medical issues. My duties include feeding and changing her, as well as engaging her in activities, specifically puzzles and other exercises to improve her motor skills. I also assist with driving her to outside services and school. The mom just recently had a baby so I do help with him as well. My duties includes feeding, changing, taking him for walks. Unfortunately this position will come to an end at the end of August. The child will be starting a new school program and my services are no longer required.

Wendi was our daily sitter for our 4 & 5/6 year old girls for a year and was beyond amazing! She was reliable, an excellent role model, and deeply caring. She drove our girls to afterschool activities, took them to the playground, and on playdates. She was wonderful with our pup and would also make dinner for the girls and help with homework, when needed. We love Wendi and can’t more highly recommend!

Kari is a kind, caring, hard working, extremely responsible caregiver who takes care of children as if they were her own. She is always on time, rarely ever takes days off, and is willing to take on additional tasks in the home such as meal prep and light cleaning. Kari is a positive, caring, respectful person who has experience taking good care of babies through elementary school age children.

Hello, Educated and experienced nanny/babysitter former preschool teacher searching for an afterschool position or a weekend position with a family. I just retired from healthcare and hopefully I will go on to earn my masters in Nutrition and Dietetics and continue with a new career in nutrition. I was originally a provider in primary care and I burnt out from the first career thus taking a long sabbatical before starting my next career. As for babysitting, I Prefer multiples. Parents will always have anxiety so that is understandable. I repeat, Anxiety is understandable and acceptable- you are not crazy. It is my job to lessen your anxiety by being COMPETENT and RELIABLE. Education: Williams College and the University of Pennsylvania. Why babysitting? I need some positive energy in my life, what better way to add that then a couple of children running circles around me while giggling? I babysat my friend’s kids not long ago and we “flew” to Australia- his sister was the pilot, we saw the kangaroos, koalas, snakes, but they were not into the idea of us snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef wich was my idea. Go figure 🤷🏽♀️ I love kids, I don’t have any because I know that they are not toys. They are living breathing human beings who need nurturing for appropriate emotional growth. I love that they will turn anything into a game. I prefer that you perform your own background check with reliable source (Sterling is great). Because otherwise this app will charge every month. Sterling is the best for background checks. That is what medical companies use. I don’t do drugs or smoke. Wine when out to dinner. Rate is flexible: depends on what you need me to do. Very flexible! I don’t own a car as I had a company car and am VIP with Uber. I can get to you just fine. But if you need me to drive the kids around you need to provide the car. I do drive and have a solid driving record. It is safer this way. You don’t want your child in an unreliable vehicle. Transportation can be worked out. Contact me if interested. 413-597-1884

Becoming a mother myself has been one of the most rewarding careers. I remember when I first became a mother, I had to learn everything from scratch from changing diapers to understanding how to keep a child safe at all times. For me, safety means being completely hands-on. I make sure sharp items and cleaning liquids are locked away, and I clean constantly to ensure children don't find something small on the carpet and swallow it. I bring that and a wealth of the exact same real-world vigilance and care to your home.

Hi, I’m Adama! I’m a full-time finance student and CPR & First Aid certified, currently seeking part-time or occasional babysitting (evenings, weekends, date nights, or short shifts). I have 3–4 years of childcare experience, including caring for children in both home and program settings. I previously worked as a youth mentor with So Shell Butterflies (HANAC) and provided care for a family with three children ages 3–12. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I enjoy keeping children engaged through play, homework help, and outdoor activities. I adapt easily to each family’s routines and prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable and cared for. I’m best suited for families looking for a responsible, dependable sitter rather than full-time childcare. I look forward to supporting families who need flexible, quality care.
