Sheri was absolutely amazing. We recently traveled to CT for a family wedding weekend and needed someone to watch our two small children during and after the rehearsal dinner and then on and off during the wedding day. After messaging a bit on the SitterCity app, she took the initiative to call me a week and a half before the wedding to discuss my needs for the weekend and learn more about the kids. Her kind and responsible manner was immediately evident on the phone. She was prompt (even early) both days and came prepared with loads of toys and activities for the kids. The kids immediately warmed up to her and seemed to enjoy the time they spent with her. Sheri even helped out during the wedding ceremony - when my son started to fuss, she just scooped him up and took him for a walk. Sheri just seemed to know how to help. My husband and I didn’t worry for a minute while our kids were in her care. I wish I could find someone just like her in my hometown of ATL! Definitely hire her, you won’t regret it.

Lorena has been a fabalous sitter. She took care of my 1 month old baby during evenings when baby would be extremly colic and cry for hours. Lorena showed utmost patience and professionalism with her care and would swaddle and rock baby for hours till baby would go to sleep. She was diligent about feeding and changing the diaper on time. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for professional sitter for their children.

Amira was a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to work with her again. We had two evenings of wedding events in Beacon, NY, and Amira took care of our two boys (9 and 7 years old) during this time. When we started looking for a sitter, she was very responsive to all our messages, and helped make the process easy. She completed the background check immediately, and hopped onto a call ahead of time for a quick interview. She arrived on time on both days. It's easy to see that she likes spending time with kids. I recommend her without any hesitation.

Finding someone you trust to care for your children is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. My goal is to provide a safe, dependable, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, engaged, and excited to learn and have fun. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Special Education and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in a self-contained special education classroom in the White Plains City School District, where I support students with a wide range of learning, communication, and behavioral needs. Before working in the school setting, I spent several summers at my local day camp, where I worked my way up from counselor to Behavior Director. In that role, I supported campers with behavioral needs, collaborated with staff and families, helped implement behavior strategies, and worked to ensure every child had a safe, positive, and successful camp experience. In addition to my work in education, I have babysat for numerous families with children of all ages. Whether we’re playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, helping with homework, or following bedtime routines, I strive to create a fun, engaging, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for. I understand that every child is unique, and I take the time to learn each child’s personality, interests, and routines. My goal is to build trusting relationships with both children and parents by being patient, dependable, and attentive while creating meaningful experiences for the children in my care. As both an educator and caregiver, I understand the trust parents place in someone caring for their children. I take that responsibility seriously and would be honored to provide your family with reliable, compassionate, and high-quality care.
