Hello! With over 16 years of professional childcare experience, I specialize as an Infant Care Specialist, supporting families through the important early stages of their child's development. My expertise includes infant care, healthy sleep foundations, feeding support, developmental milestones, establishing consistent routines, and creating customized schedules that help both infants and parents thrive. I have extensive experience working with high-net-worth families, providing discreet, professional, and personalized care. I am comfortable supporting dynamic household environments, maintaining confidentiality, collaborating with household staff, and adapting to each family's unique parenting style and lifestyle needs. In addition to infant care, I have significant experience caring for multiple children of varying ages. I excel at creating structure within busy households while ensuring each child receives individualized attention and developmentally appropriate support. My approach is warm, hands-on, and engaging. I encourage learning through play, creativity, outdoor exploration, music, art, cooking activities, and educational outings that foster confidence, curiosity, and independence. Throughout my career, I have accompanied families on domestic and international travel, ski holidays, weddings, hotel stays, seasonal relocations, and extended vacations. Whether providing overnight support, temporary full-time coverage, travel assistance, or short-term care while families search for a permanent caregiver, I offer flexible, reliable support tailored to each family's needs. My background includes leading children's art and theatre programs through YMCA programs in California and Wisconsin. Families consistently describe me as calm, dependable, adaptable, and genuinely invested in their children's well-being and development. I am also happy to assist with children's meal preparation, maintaining routines, bedtime support, and organizing children's spaces. Please note that I have a 5-hour booking minimum. Rates vary based on the age and number of children, scheduling requirements, evenings, overnights, and travel. If you are seeking an experienced Infant Care Specialist who brings warmth, expertise, discretion, and structure to your family, I would be delighted to connect with you.

We are so very grateful for Laylah! We were in from out of town when the the babysitter we had lined up canceled at the very last minute. Left with no options and expensive Broadway tickets, I reached out to Laylah and was immediately comfortable leaving my children with her. Laylah swooped in like a veritable Mary Poppins, and whisked our kids away to have a true NYC experience: Taxi Cabs, photos with transformers, Central Park zoo... Our kids had a great time, and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our show! We met up with them afterwards, and the children were full of tales from their adventures, and Laylah sent us myriads of photos. We are so grateful for her professionalism, competence, and easy-going nature-I would recommend her to *anyone*.

Djane worked full time for us watching our 1 year old son. She was very caring and listened to what our family needed and integrated into his routine smoothly. She took him out, made playdates, and kept our house organized by putting things away and cleaning up during naptime. I'd highly recommend her.

Hello! I am looking for a full time position as I transition from working for the Department of Education. I am enrolled in remote classes at The City College of New York, working on my Bilingual Childhood Education BA. I have a very friendly, welcoming, and nurturing personality. I am an older sister, we have an 9 year gap which, of course, deemed me her personal (un)official babysitter. I also have both professional and personal experience with infants. I also lived with a close family and was closely involved in caring for her twin infants during their first 18 months, supporting and implementing routines and development. I am comfortable and connect with all ages. I love parks, museums, and anything outdoors! I am open to answer any questions so we can get to know each other further.

Any family would be lucky to have Yamelis as their nanny.

Hi families! I’m Ella — a caring, fun, and warm sitter with a genuine love for working with children and a Bachelor of Science in Developmental/Child Psychology. I grew up in NYC helping care for my two younger brothers (2 and 8 years apart) and doing competitive gymnastics, which sparked my passion for child development and supporting kids as they grow. I have several years of experience coaching gymnastics for ages 2–15, working as a summer camp counselor, and babysitting for families in my neighborhood. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and also hold concussion and other sport-safety certifications. I’m patient, playful, and highly attuned to children’s needs, and I love creating a safe, encouraging environment where kids feel understood and confident. Whether it’s active play, creative activities, or supporting daily routines, I always meet children where they are and make the day fun and meaningful. I pride myself on being diligent, timely, and organized. I love to cook and clean, and truly find joy in helping families however I can.

Hi, I’m Adama! I’m a full-time finance student and CPR & First Aid certified, currently seeking part-time or occasional babysitting (evenings, weekends, date nights, or short shifts). I have 3–4 years of childcare experience, including caring for children in both home and program settings. I previously worked as a youth mentor with So Shell Butterflies (HANAC) and provided care for a family with three children ages 3–12. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I enjoy keeping children engaged through play, homework help, and outdoor activities. I adapt easily to each family’s routines and prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable and cared for. I’m best suited for families looking for a responsible, dependable sitter rather than full-time childcare. I look forward to supporting families who need flexible, quality care.
