A little about me: I've been an artist my whole life, drawing, crafting, painting, sewing, etc. I like to utilize those skills to teach and entertain the children (and sometimes even the parents) I work with! As far as the musical side of me, I love to play the bass, and have been dabbling around with the ukulele for a few years too! I often bring my uke and other small, novelty instruments for the kiddos to play with. I'm kind of a nature and animal nut as well, being outside, exploring nature and playing with pups are some of my favorite things to do! I like to try to incorporate all of my hobbies into my child care routines to encourage creativity, sharing, responsibility, critical thinking etc. and to make sure that we're filling our day with as much fun (and structure) as possible :D I have a wide variety of child care expirience ranging from newborns to teens, to children with special needs and I've been caring children for the last 11+ years. I grew up with all varieties of pets and have been a dog owner for the last 10 years so most pets and pet care are never an issue for me either :) I take ultimate pride in the work that I do whether it be babysitting, pet sitting, housekeeping, or any combination of the three. I just genuinely love and enjoy my job, this is something I hope to do for the rest of my life! I am almost 24 years old- the oldest out of five total kids and I grew up taking care of my siblings. I still do take care of them pretty often.
