Hello! I am currently a part time college student studying Psychology with a Child and Adolescent Development Concentration. I have worked with kids for so long I don't remember a time where I wasn't working with them! I come from a large family where I am one of the oldest so I was always the babysitter. Throughout my entire working career I have always done occasional (ie date night) babysitting While still in school until I was an adult, I taught martial arts for ages 3-adults. After I graduated I nannied for a family with 4 kids. When the youngest went to Kindergarten, I started working in a formal childcare setting as a toddler teacher. Within my almost 5 years of childcare I obtained my CDA (Child Development Associate certificate), went back to school part time, and even presented at an Early Childhood Educators state conference. I recently renewed my CDA and to keep my credential I have to be CPR and first aide certified. I have been recertified multiple times and keep it up to date.
