MY EXPERIENCE I am blessed to be a mom, but my baby is now an adult and out on his own! I am a stepmom to a live-in young adult male with autism, and this experience has taught me how to communicate in a whole new way. In addition to being a parent, I was a babysitter for many years in my teens. I currently babysit the children of extended family members whenever possible!
