Hello! My name is Janiel, and I’m a caring, dependable, and energetic sitter with a genuine passion for working with children. I have hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, and I love creating safe, fun, and engaging environments where kids can learn and grow. I’m certified in CPR and First Aid, and I’m confident in handling emergencies with calmness and care. I have experience with meal preparation, light housekeeping, diaper changes, homework help, and bedtime routines. I’m also comfortable with pets, and I don’t mind lending a hand with school drop-offs/pickups or occasional errands if needed. I enjoy planning creative activities—whether that’s arts and crafts, outdoor play, story time, or learning games—so kids stay entertained while also building new skills. Most importantly, I value open communication with parents and consistency with family routines, so you can feel confident your child is well cared for. My goal is to provide dependable childcare that gives parents peace of mind and children a safe, supportive, and fun space. I look forward to meeting your family and becoming a trusted part of your child’s life!

Janiel was such a great help to me and my daughter when I needed a sitter urgently, this was my second time with her and she has always been reliable and nurturing towards my baby girl. These days it’s really hard to find trustworthy and reliable sitters who you know will take care of your child and that was always a concern for my husband and I. Thank you for being such an attentive individual. I totally recommend her services. ??

I started babysitting at the young age of 10. I then became a Sunday School teacher in my church. During college, I worked as a teacher's assistant in the OSU child care center. I have a bachelors in early childhood development and have achieved my masters in education. I worked as a pre-k teacher, kindergarten teacher, and substituted for grades pre-k to 12th grade. People have always said I have a special gift with children. I enjoy helping your child develop emotionally, mentally, and physically.

🌟 Hi families! I’m Makayla — a licensed social worker and proud Children’s Hospital team member! 🌟 Caring for kids has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the oldest child in my family, looking after little ones came naturally, and it quickly became something I genuinely love. Kids bring so much joy, curiosity, and unpredictability — every few minutes is a new adventure, and I adore that. They learn from you, you learn from them, and together you grow. 👶 My Experience I’ve worked with children in a wide variety of settings, including: • Camps • Homes • Churches • Schools I’ve cared for kids of all ages and have served as both an emergency sitter and a labor‑on‑call sitter. Some of my favorite roles include: • Camp counselor for 5th graders • Kidz Kingdom teacher for babies–5-year-olds • After‑school teacher’s aide for kindergarten & 1st grade • Babysitter for many wonderful families • Middle school girls’ soccer coach (a role I absolutely adore!) 🌈 What I Love to Do With Kids Exploring is my favorite way to connect — whether that’s trying new foods, visiting museums, heading to the zoo, checking out local parks, or spending the day at COSI. Kids are naturally curious, and exploring together builds trust, confidence, and joy. 👨👩👧👦 Additional Experience • Comfortable caring for multiples (I’ve managed up to 6 kids at once!) • Experienced with infants • Overnight care available If you’re looking for someone dependable, energetic, and passionate about helping kids learn and grow, I’d love to connect!

Hello! I have been loving and caring for children for over 20 years now. I have cared for children ranging from infancy to pre-teens. When I care for a family I prefer a structured yet fun atmosphere. I have done lesson plans including but not limited to baby sign language, colors, numbers, alphabet, days of the week, shapes and months (English and Spanish). With music and arts and crafts as well. I also enjoy outings such as the zoo, Cosi, splash pads and other attractions within the central ohio area. I truly believe living and caring for a child cannot be taught it truly is a passion. I hope to hear from you soon!

Miss Barbie is amazing! She treats our two kids like they are her own, makes them feel special by having their own blankets, cups, plates, etc. at her home just for them. She lifts a weight off our shoulders in so many ways. She provides meals, has extra clothes for the kids at her house, does their laundry that's there, all we have to do is drop them off and we know they're in such good care. She takes them to the zoo, Cosi, parks, etc. to ensure they are getting those fun experiences while we're working. She also works with our 4 year old on skills needed for preschool and kindergarten, does lots of crafts with the kids and educates them throughout the day. We cannot say enough about the quality of care Barbie provides to not only our kids, but our entire family.

Hi, I’m Izzie! I have spent the last 4 years caring for children of all ages and with different levels of care needs. I have experience with special needs children, twins and infants as well children of all ages up to pre-teen and teen. I have certifications in babysitting, first aid, CPR and specialized training with autism. I enjoy activities with the children I care for, with an emphasis on hands-on play and less screen time. I encourage healthy living and healthy eating. I am a very organized individual and have no problem helping with household chores and tasks in my downtime. This is something that I make a priority to do without being asked, as a very self-motivated person. If there are chores that kids have, I will also help them stay on task to get them completed. I am comfortable making snacks and food. I am able to help with learning activities and homework. I have experience with pet sitting, and I foster cats through my local humane society, so taking care of pets would be no problem for me. I have reliable transportation with a clean driving record. I have availability for daytime, evening, as well as overnight hours.

I truly don’t know if there are enough good things I could say about Izzie. She has become so much more to our family than simply a babysitter, and I genuinely don’t think she has any idea how much she helps me and how grateful I am for her. We have four kids, all with completely different ages, personalities, needs, and schedules, and she handles the chaos with an ease that amazes me. She doesn’t just “watch” our kids. She knows them, talks to them, plays with them, listens to their endless stories, laughs with them, and has formed her own relationship with each of them. They absolutely LOVE her and are genuinely excited when they know Izzie is coming. One of the sweetest things she does is my daughter’s nails. This may seem like such a small thing, but it is so special to my daughter. She looks forward to it, and it gives them such a sweet opportunity to spend time together. I love seeing how excited and proud my daughter is when Izzie does her nails, and it means so much to me that Izzie takes the time to do something that feels so special to her. And somehow, on top of taking amazing care of four kids, she CLEANS for me. I cannot explain what it feels like to come home after being gone and realize that not only were my kids safe, happy, and loved, but my house is cleaner than when I left. She notices things that need done without me asking. She picks up, cleans, helps with the mess and chaos that comes with having four kids, and takes things off my plate that she probably doesn’t even realize were weighing on me. As a busy mom, that is an incredible gift. There have been so many times I’ve walked in after she’s been here and thought, “She seriously has no idea how much she just helped me.” I trust Izzie completely, which is the highest compliment I could ever give someone caring for my children. I can leave and actually relax because I know they are safe, loved, and with someone who genuinely cares about them. At this point, calling her our “babysitter” doesn’t even feel right. She is part of our village, she makes my life easier, she loves our babies, and our entire family absolutely adores her. If you are lucky enough to have Izzie care for your children, you have found an absolute gem. Five stars doesn’t even begin to cover it. ❤️

I cannot recommend Alejandra highly enough. She started caring for our son when he was just 11 months old, and she stayed with our family as he grew into a thriving, active toddler. Watching her seamlessly adapt her care as our son's needs changed has been an absolute joy. When our baby was an infant she was incredibly nurturing, patient, and attentive. She was a lifesaver with establishing a solid nap schedule, managing bottle feedings, and encouraging milestone developments like tummy time and crawling. She kept meticulous daily updates that gave us complete peace of mind while at work. As our son transitioned into a toddler, Alejandra effortlessly shifted gears to keep up with the new energy levels. She introduced creative educational play, daily outdoor exploration, sensory activities, and helped us successfully navigate toddler speech development, including Spanish. She balances warmth with gentle, consistent boundaries. Alejandra is punctual, highly communicative, and deeply trustworthy. She didn’t just watch our child—she became an extension of our family. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her!
