Hello. I am looking for occasional part time work to supplement the full time Special Needs Nanny/House Manager job I have. I love caring for children of all ages and abilities and have over my adult life. I was a NICU and Pediatric RN in both the USAF and civilian life for almost 20 years. After my husband became ill, I transitioned these skills to working as an early PreK and PreK teacher. I followed this as a Special Needs Nanny after 12 years. I am very organized and I like to think I am creative. I understand the need for schedules and have 18 hrs of Conscious Discipline training. I don’t know if it was the military or nursing experiences, but I do well popping into a new situation and getting things done. I love arts and crafts and lots and lots of reading.
