I started taking care of children in early high school as a summer/weekend pastime, and continued because of how much I love the job! I currently work in a childcare center through the week and am pursuing my degree in education; I am looking for a weekend position to help fund my schooling. I am certified in First Aid and CPR through Redcross and have numerous references from the families I've previously worked for.

I have varied and vast experience with all age groups as well as developmental delays. I have current CPR, And background check. I volunteer with a diverse group of environmental and charitable organizations such as Special Olympics of Delaware County, Lifeline of Ohio, and Preservation Parks of Delaware County. I am seeking a position with guaranteed hours between 30 - 50 a week with highly competitive pay.

I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology, where I developed a strong foundation in child development and behavioral understanding. I am CPR certified, safety-focused, and confident in caring for children of all ages. I have professional nanny experience working with a family in Florida, caring for two young boys (8 months and 2 years old), and I loved being part of their daily routine and milestones. Along with nannying, I worked as an ABA therapist for children with autism for two years, giving me hands-on experience supporting children with different developmental and behavioral needs. I have also cared for multiple family members' children over the years and volunteered with several organizations supporting children and teens with special needs. I enjoy creating a fun, patient, and nurturing environment — whether that's through play, sensory activities, outdoor time, or learning-based engagement. If time allows, I love helping with housework, tidying, laundry, or meal prep to make life easier for parents. I have experience working not only with infants and children, but also with teens and adults, which has given me a calm, adaptable, and understanding approach to care. I would love to bring warmth, structure, and positivity into your child’s routine. I look forward to getting to know your family!

I have watched many different age groups thanks to having worked in a daycare center for six years. When I began I was part-time and went to all the different rooms, so I worked with all the children from the infants to the school-agers (in the summer). I eventually decided to work there full-time as a toddler teacher in the potty-training room because I loved being around the kids so much. Sadly, that daycare center in Columbus ended up closing. I moved back home to Newark, OH to be closer to my family. I do not have any children of my own but I enjoy the time I do get to spend with my four nieces and my nephew. In 2016, I moved to Canal Winchester and married my soulmate. We have 2 dogs (Catfish & Daisy) who are are some spoiled pups. I usually like to try to do an art/craft project with the children. I always clean up any mess that is made, but I do believe the messier the project is, the more fun the child will have and the more creative he/she can be. I will ask you in advance if this is ok to do. I love to read and I will read to the children. A few of my favorite authors of kid's books are David Shannon, Sandra Boynton, Eric Carle, and of course, Dr Seuss.

Hi- Im Kate! I have been babysitting since I was 12 (I started with new born twins!!) and have sat for different families since. I have helped with twins, triplets and have watched over children from the age of a few days to teens. I was a career nanny for over 10 years working for many profession families (including NFL players!) before having my own children (they are 5, 3, and 2.5month now!) I love working with new families and am look forward to working nights, weekends, overnights and for travel. While I am working on my newborn care specialist training, I am very interested in working with families with newborns for overnights as a night nurse or extra help on weekends or evenings. **while I have no reviews posted here, I have wonderful references I’m happy to share. I have not used sittercity for a very long time- I was mostly hired by word of mouth when I was consistently babysitting.**
