Hello! My name is Bella, I am an undergraduate student at Kent State. I am majoring in special ed and psychology. I love working with children and hope to gain more experience! I’ve worked with children from ages 3 to 10 through my churches various after school programs.

I started babysitting when I was 11. 4 children for 2 summers. The funny thing is that Bob McKenzie, one of the four children, ended up dating and marrying my friend Sharon from high school. I still keep in contact with 2 of them through Facebook Pam and Bob. Then for 3 years with the same 2 children who were babies. Sophia and Marcus. Loved them very much. At That time the city I lived in Lakewood, offered babysitting classes and I took advantage of it and learned how to become a great babysitter. I also went to school to become Medical Assistant. I did that for 5 years. I love kids. I have 5 grandchildren and they can't get enough of me. I've always been a kid magnet. Most children are drawn to me and I can associate with infants to middle school age. I adapt to their situation and let them come to me and bond. I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages. Ever since I was about 10 years old I’ve babysat for friends and family. When I was in high school I went to vocational school for Early Childhood Education for 2 years and worked in a state licensed preschool, working with infants all the way up to 5 year olds. I planned lessons and taught. Through and after high school I worked at a YMCA in childwatch for a couple hours while parents came to work out or take classes, working with children from infant to 10 year olds. Hi! I have my bachelors & masters degree in human development & family studies. I am 27 years old. I have an extensive background in child development & have experiences with children of all ages in numerous settings, including hospitalized children. I’ve also been babysitting since I was in high school & have experience working in a daycare with toddlers and infants. Additionally, I have my basic life support (BLS) certification.

I have always had a child around me growing up, between my siblings/ relatives. I also used to coach little league cheerleading, that includes all three levels. Kids are my passion.
