Hello! My name is Becky. I'm 52 years young. I have over 35 years of experience working with children. I have been a teacher, tutor, preschool designer and teacher, and nanny. I love working with children! I believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging children to be all that they can be.

I have always had a child around me growing up, between my siblings/ relatives. I also used to coach little league cheerleading, that includes all three levels. Kids are my passion. I’m currently working with toddlers at the Goddard school in boardman and was just teacher of the month in January, and then teacher of the year in 2024. I love what I do and how much kids love me. I’ve also been told I’m the potty training whisperer! I will be going to the police academy in the fall. Classes are 6-10 pm but I would still be available as I still need to be getting paid:)

I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages. Ever since I was about 10 years old I’ve babysat for friends and family. When I was in high school I went to vocational school for Early Childhood Education for 2 years and worked in a state licensed preschool, working with infants all the way up to 5 year olds. I planned lessons and taught. Through and after high school I worked at a YMCA in childwatch for a couple hours while parents came to work out or take classes, working with children from infant to 10 year olds. I can do in my home or yours. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love to be an important and reliable person in a young child’s life :) I do not have a license to drive.

I'm a soon to be highschool graduate with over 5 years of experience in childcare. I have a 3 year old special needs sister, I'm very patient, I love to teach children how to feel and understand their emotions. I've worked at a summer camp with children from ages 6-18, I can cook, clean, help with homework and projects and can help teach children valuable life skills involving taking care of yourself and others.
