I’ve always had a heart for working with children. I love watching them learn, grow, and explore the world around them. Being a sitter gives me the chance to not only care for kids, but to support their development, bring them joy, and be a calm, reliable presence in their lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to build trust with both kids and their families. I’ve been babysitting and summer nannying since I was 12 years old for several families in my community. I’ve also worked as a substitute teacher, an extended daycare aide, and an assistant preschool teacher, so I’m very comfortable managing different age groups and following routines. I’m currently in college studying Human Capital Management & Leadership and Psychology, and I’m passionate about becoming a school counselor one day. Through years of hands-on experience, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, patience, and conflict resolution. I know how to keep kids engaged with fun and safe activities, manage different personalities, and handle the unexpected with calmness and care. My time working in schools and child care settings has also taught me how to create structure, encourage positive behavior, and support emotional and social development. Additionally. I have CPR+First Aid certifications, along with many other trainings and certifications on OCCRRA. I have a FBI/BCI check readily available for you as well!

I’m a first time mom to a one month old. I absolutely love kids. I’ve grew up raising my nieces and nephews. I was also babysitting while I was pregnant to get some extra money. I love to do arts and crafts with the kids and helping with anything they may need. I will always treat any children like they are my own.

Hi! My name is Alaina I’m currently going into my third year at Tiffin University. I’ve been in childcare for many years. I was an overnight camp counselor for kids aged 8-14 for 3 years, I’ve also been babysitting kids as young as 6 months for the past 5 years or so and I was a Sunday school teacher for children aged 9 months to 11 years for about 3 years as well. I also worked as a swim instructor for children aged 4 months to 12 years. I’ve loved caring for children of all ages and have had experience in nearly every aspect of child care over the years. I am COR and first aid trained and I have a variety of skills that could fit any families needs!
