I studied fine arts in Philadelphia, then went on to get my master's degree in creative arts therapy. I worked as either a recreation therapist or art therapist for 8 years. Once we started our family, I quickly realized that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mother for our 4 children. As my children were getting older, I began to babysit. My husband retired from law enforcement this year, so we decided to begin our next chapter in life out west.
