A little bit about me… Hello! I am a nanny with 15+ years experience with kids ranging from infants to 5+. This is my nanny philosophy: When you come into someone’s home as their nanny, you are essentially becoming a member of their family. It is so important to bond with the family as a whole, and build that connection of trust. As your nanny, I will do whatever I can to make sure your kids feel loved, valued, respected, happy and safe. I realize that these are your children and they mean more than the world to you, so I want to care for them exactly the way you want them to be cared for. I also think that communication is very important - if there is something I’m doing that you want me to do differently, I will do my best to do it the way you prefer, no questions asked! I believe that as a nanny and parents, we are a team, and we are all working towards the same goal together; to help these kids be the best little people they can be! :)

Hi! My name is Katherine Janney, I am 20 years old and I attend school at Concordia university. I have had a lot of experience babysitting and also have been a nanny before. I was a nanny to two children when I was in high school. Duties included picking up from school, preparing snack, helping with homework and playing/doing activities with the kids until the parents came home. Currently I work at the YMCA of Columbia wallamet. I have worked there for over a year now in the child care center. I take care of kids ages 6 weeks to 10 years. My duties there are similar to a nannies. I feed the infants, change diapers, clean, play with the older kids, etc. I enjoy working with kids and being a positive influence in their life's. I am very interested in your nanny position and look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your consideration. -Katherine Janney

I am 23 years old and I volunteer at my church with a lot of children's ministries. I also used to watch kids for our Nursery ministry with kids that are 4 and under for a few years as well as working with older kids. I've also nannied for a few families with 2-3 kids all under 5 years old; and for 1.5 years I've nannied for baby since she was 8 months old. I currently work at a preschool but am looking for find families to babysit for outside of that. I am CPR-trained and certified and also have a food handlers card.

I’ve never actually applied for a position as a nanny before but I have a big family so I pretty much grew up watching my younger cousins 24/7. I also have experience working in childcare, however, I haven’t worked since March of 2024 when I had my child. I definitely enjoy being around kids, childcare was probably one of my top favorite jobs minus the adults that I worked with. Childcare is probably one of the most drama filled jobs I’ve ever worked in. Despite all the drama, the kids definitely made it worth going to work. I’ve worked for a majority of curriculum based daycares and loved it. Being able to be apart of a child’s development and to watch them grow developmentally day-to-day is one of the most rewarding feelings ever.
