My preferred schedule is around 8:00/8:30 AM to 3:30/4:00 PM. I’ve found that this works best for my family at home while also giving the children I care for a good daily balance of learning, playing, outdoor time, meals, and naps. After more than 25 years, I continue being a nanny because I genuinely enjoy caring for children, teaching them, watching them grow, and becoming close with the families I work with. I recently was a full time nanny for the sweetest little guy he was 10 mos when I started then at 13months he had a baby sister. I did care for both at times and a lot of overtime’s when needed.
