Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. Every child is unique, and I love building connections with them, helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Whether it’s reading stories, playing games, or helping with homework, I find a lot of joy in being someone they can trust and have fun with. It’s also rewarding to support parents by giving them peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. What experience do you have? I currently work at the Kids Klub at LA Fitness, where I care for children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I’ve also babysat for different families, taking care of children ranging from 3 months to 14 years old. These experiences have given me strong skills in supervision, engagement, and adapting to different children's needs and personalities. I’ve also helped with daily routines like feeding, changing diapers, and bedtime. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association and have gone through background checks and additional training through my job at LA Fitness. I’m fluent in Spanish, which helps me support bilingual families and assist with homework or tutoring when needed. I’m also currently in college studying Allied Health, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety practices.

Hello, I’m Maggie! I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where I majored in Administration of Justice and Legal Studies. My love for law and working with children sparked my interest in Juvenile Justice, which made me switch from my initial major of psychology. I have been babysitting since I was about 13, and I have always loved working with kids. Over the past two years I’ve worked with children in a preschool setting as an assistant teacher at the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh. If you have any other questions, or would like to get to know me better, feel free to message me!

Jordyn has been a fantastic help in caring for our twins. She has been punctual and pleasant. The one time that she was running late she called us well in advance to let us know. I am working from home and as such I have the privilege of checking in with my kids through the work day. It's clear that when she's with the kids she's engaging with them and not just jumping up to look busy. They go outside to play. They do activities. They sit and have quiet time. She is not someone that needs prompting to engage with them and that's huge. My kids love her and when she goes home after a long day they ask me to take them to her house. I cannot recommend her more if you have the opportunity to hire her.

I am a fun, caring, and patient hard worker. I have experience with preschool, first, and third grade students as a early childhood/special education major. I also worked in a senior living facility for about 1 1/2 years. I have taken care of three cats, but love all animals. I worked as a community assistant (ca/ra) for about two years on campus, so I’m really good at managing emotions, creating fun activities, and crafts. I have worked at a preschool and childcare center for 3 1/2 years working with students ages 3-12. Additionally, I thought 4th grade ELA and social studies for 1 year.

Tavi is awesome!! She watched our two foster boys the day after they came to our home. They were 4 and 2 yr old. The eldest had autism and a severe speech impediment and the youngest was nonverbal and sick. She rocked it!! I came home to a clean home and happy kids. She kept me updated all day and was so reliable. Love having her as a go to!!
