My name is Holly. I am 27 and currently working as a Certified Child Life Specialist at a local children’s hospital. I have my Master of Science in Child Life from the College of Charleston. While pursuing my masters degree, I completed a 120 hour practicum at a pediatric hospital in Charleston, SC as well as just completed a 605 hour internship at a pediatric hospital in Baltimore, MD. As part of my program, I gained vast knowledge and comprehension in child development and structuring developmentally appropriate play activities. While in Charleston, I also worked as a nanny for a vacation nanny agency, nannying children between the ages of 3 months to 12 years in addition to holding many consistent babysitting gigs with local families. Prior to pursuing a masters degree, I worked as a behavioral health technician for a local outpatient behavioral health center and an inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit providing ABA therapy and leading group therapy sessions with my BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Hi! I’m Bree. I’m a caring, naturally nurturing, and educational person with 3 years of nanny experience. For one of those years, I was a nanny to a 10 month old and a 2 year old. For two years, I was a nanny to a 3 year old boy and a 4 month old baby who was born prematurely. Right before I accepted that job, I worked at Goddard for a few months as the lead teacher in the 2-year-old classroom. I love to go outside, go to the park, and teach kiddos lots of new things! I love to let them help me in the kitchen and bake. I will have to renew my clearances, but I will have no problem doing that, and I have plenty of references and safe transportation.
