Hi! I am Kate Dombroski, I am currently a first year studying Neuroscience and playing field hockey at Dickinson College. However, I am from the area and actually went to Boiling Springs High School. Finding a job over the summer has been really difficult for me because I really would love to become an occupational therapist some day and work in pediatrics but internships and work experience related to the medical field is really hard to come by right now in the pandemic. The past four summers I have been a pool lifeguard but I am looking for a change. I love children, I am first-aid and CPR certified and am more than willing to be flexible with hours and distance! In the past I have also had internships at physical therapy clinics, Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, and camp counselors at local summer camps. Currently I do work on Sundays taking care of an elderly lady, which I have been doing for about eight months now. I'm Shelby! I'm a mom of one- she's two years old now and her name is Lily Jo. She loves to play with others. In the past years I've watch numerous families children including 2 month olds up to 12 year olds. I graduated in 2015 and was a student at CPAVTS for two years where I was a teacher for preschool aged students and also was involved in child development classes throughout my high school career.
