I have two years of experience working in a daycare with ages 6 weeks to 13 years of age. I a special education teacher, graduate in December 2021 from UNLV with my bachelors, and have worked in the classroom from the third grade to upper high school level with a variety of disabilities. I have experience changing diapers, working with blood and other bodily functions, and conducting safe and fun playtime with my students! Hi, my name is Shameena and I’m currently a senior at Penn State University. I’m majoring in pre-med and I hope to become a pediatrician. I love reading romantic novels and watching rom-coms movies. I’m looking for part time either babysitting or being a nanny. I have one year experience with babysitting. It consisted of taking the kids to the bus stop in the morning and the occasional evening where the parents would go out for a bit. I was also a kindergarten teacher assistant in high school for a semester as well. Yet, I would say that I did babysit my three younger siblings when growing up. I know that most would say that it doesn’t fall under the category of babysitting, but as being the oldest I had to watch and sometimes feed my siblings when my parents were away for a few hours.

I am currently a teacher at a local preschool and have been teaching since 2022. I graduated from Penn State August 2023, with a bachelor’s in Psychology and Early Childhood Education credits. I am working on completing my ECE schooling. I love working with children because there’s nothing better than being able to teach and guide them into a healthy and positive development.
