I have over 12 years of nanny experience working with infants as young as 6 weeks to teens as old as 16. I have worked with at least 5 different infants, with at least 4 them being 3 months old when I started. I have at least 4 families I have worked for that had multiples, like two toddlers, or an infant and a toddler/preschool. Nursing was my original major, so I have all the prerequisites for nursing school and one year of paid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) experience, which is really helpful when taking care of kids. This experience has also given me a mindset for cleanliness and safe health standards, like taking off my shoes when I enter your home and then washing my hands. I have done over-night care (bottle feeding) /sleep training for at least two infants. Children have always brought me joy. I love seeing their little personalities develop and helping them learn new skills. I like working with them daily to promote independence in teaching them basic routines and appropriate responsibilities, like learning to put on their shoes/jacket or learning to wash their hands before meals. My favorite experiences with children are when they learn something or you congratulate them on an achievement and they smile so big and are so proud of themselves! It's just priceless. Watching them grow in confidence and independence is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified (7/17/2026).
