Hi I'm Alyson! I graduated from Bob Jones University in May 2019 with my degree in Theatre Arts. I have experience caring for children from newborn to teenagers and I come from a large family (6 siblings with 8 nieces/ nephews ages 9 months to 15 years old!). I've worked as a nanny for a babysitting company where I cared for children of all ages, infants to 16 years old. I've also worked with an after-school program assisting school-age children with e-learning in addition to leading regular after-school enrichment. Additionally, I've taught theatre classes for children aged kindergarten through 8th grade. Most recently, I worked at a Cultural Center creating educational programming for all ages, most notably working alongside middle and high school kids in producing full-fledged musicals! I enjoy sharing my energy and passion for storytelling with kids of all ages!

I was a babysitter for my neighbors kids, ages 7-10, and was a teen volunteer where I helped a teacher keep track and organize about 20+ children for5 hours a week. I am going to school to be an elementary school teacher because of how much I enjoy not only teaching children and learning from them. They are so much more capable than some give them credit for. I would really love to get more experience being around kids and getting to build a mutual respect with them.
