I've taught across multiple subject areas, including English as a Second Language and an intensive reading course. Kids have helped me become more enthusiastic, energetic and joyful. They have shown me the importance of creativity and silliness in the learning process. I am comfortable with crying, throw up, and dirty diapers. I'm definitely not afraid to play dress up, build Lego mansions, or pull out my "best" dance moves to make a kiddo smile! I'm a believer of "work hard -play hard" and "rules are for a reason."

I have been watching children ages newborn-12 for the last 10 years. I am experienced with children with special needs, seeing as I have a younger brother with autism as well as I worked with an autistic child over the summer.
