Hey! I wanted to briefly explain why I believe I would make an excellent babysitter for your children. I have a lot of practical experience with young children because I have been looking after my siblings since they were born. I also frequently watch my cousins and younger relatives' children, so I know how to keep them happy, safe, and entertained. Children typically feel very at ease with me because of my calm and friendly demeanor. I'm very understanding and tolerant, especially when it comes to dealing strong emotions or mood swings. I simply aim to be someone who they can unwind and feel safe around. I have also volunteered at children's volleyball summer camps, which was a lot of fun and taught me how to work with children in a group environment. I enjoy being active and bringing that energy to games or activities if they're up for it because I've played volleyball myself. Additionally I am also working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business Management as it is my second year in college. All in all, I truly love spending time with children and ensuring that they are taken care of while you are away.

My name is Tracy. I have been married for 36 years. My husband and I have raised five great kids! We have 4 grandchildren! We moved from Arkansas to the Carolinas in 2019. We currently live in the Edgewater Community in Lancaster. I have been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for the last 24 years. However, I did work outside of the home for the first 11 years of parenthood, so I understand the challenges and pressures of juggling a family, keeping up with a home and a full-time job. During my time at home I homeschooled for six years before transitioning my children to a private school. They have since graduated high school and college (two are still in college). We are a close family that still has Sunday dinner most every week. As a mom of five I understand that children are created with their own individual personalities. While families and siblings share a lot in common, each person is unique in the way they learn, think, respond and react to circumstances and the world around them. I know the importance of routine and structure (this was how I maintained my sanity as I raised my family), but I also know how to have fun. My children are now grown, and I am ready to begin working outside of the home again. With a 24 year gap on my resume, it has proven difficult to re-enter the business world I was in before coming home to raise a family. I’m so grateful that I was able to be home while I raised my children, and I believe my skills as a mother and homemaker will easily transfer in caring for other family’s children. I am good with infants and children of all ages. I currently volunteer with the babies and pre-K children in my local church. I enjoy animals. I am also able to help with cooking, light cleaning, errands, etc. I have been CPR/First Aid certified in the past. As that has expired, I am willing to get re-certified if required. Hi! I'm local to rockhill and looking for a job close to home (10-15 mi preferably) I did private nanny & babysitting jobs for many years as I raised my son so I could stay home with him. I was a new mom and I was nervous so I totally get that. I am proficient in int fant care as I was leaf infant room teacher for Abt 8 yrs. I abided by all state rules and regulations and absolutely loved my job. I'm 52 yrs old, kinda like a young grandma w lots of early childhood education in my brain. 😊 I'm the healthiest I've ever been and able to play w the child and get on the floor etc. I love to create a day for an infant that they are cared for and feel safe and content as they can w out mom/dad. I like the infants and toddlers to feel like it's a normal day and the "learning" is fun... I. E., "fine motor skills practice"=coloring or picking up pieces and putting into a container. Toy play etc. social and emotional/language/music .... Rocking. Eye contact. Smiles and singing. Reading books. There's always a lot of fun things to do!
