I love children of all ages. I relate to them and can keep them entertained. I also work with them on homework and activities. I have spent most of my life caring for my own child, but through my activities as a 4-H leader and Cub Scout den leader, I've helped raise many more children. Since I homeschooled my son from 4th grade on, I have had a bit more experience than most parents with the educational aspects of raising a child.

I have 25 Plus years as a Childcare Professional. I have a counseling and teaching background. I have experience with the care of multiple babies and children. While raising my now adult child, I ran a registered in-home daycare for 20 years. For the past three years I have been a nanny. I have experience with all age children. I also have experience with special needs baby through young adult ages. I have been a a math tutor (middle school), assistant teacher in a special needs grammar school and a substitute teacher, I have been a counselor in a diagnostic and evaluation facility for placed and runaway teens and a counselor at a teen girls group home. I am a stay at home mom in Myrtle beach SC. I have two boys 9 and 17 months that turned in October and a 7 year daughter. I would love the opportunity to babysit at my house so that I could make a little extra money and have Playmates for my youngest son. My living room has been turned into a complete play area and I have everything needed to care for small children. We are very environmently conscious, we eat mostly organic and we don't use chemicals in our home. We are very hands on with our son and we love playing with him and taking him fun places.

I like for kids to be on a regular eat, play, sleep schedule. Typical day for a preschooler is breakfast, indoor play, outdoor play. Lunch then nap time. Snack after nap and then more playtime. I love children and have babysat and nannied since high school. I taught preschool and went on to work as a paraprofessional in a special needs classroom. I now have my own children, and babysit in my home.

My passion in life was raising my three children and teaching Special Education. Now that my children are all young adults and I am recently retired from teaching, I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life.
