While raising my now adult child, I ran a registered in-home daycare for 20 years. For the past three years I have been a nanny. I have experience with all age children. I also have experience with special needs baby through young adult ages. I have been a a math tutor (middle school), assistant teacher in a special needs grammar school and a substitute teacher, I have been a counselor in a diagnostic and evaluation facility for placed and runaway teens and a counselor at a teen girls group home. I have a stepfamily coach certificate. I love working with kids and families.

Hi!  I am a retired Kdg. teacher, who has raised 3 children of my own.  My grandchildren are all the way in Georgia, but I can be a surrogate grandparent for your kids, while still being young and active enough to play, read, entertain, sing and dance, and keep them safe and happy. Being a caregiver has always been something that I enjoy doing and always has come very naturally to me. Since I was a little girl I remember always wanting to hold the baby if there was one around, always the 1st to run over and help a elderly person carry something, always tried to nurse anyone sick or injured back to health. I suppose that you can say it's just what I'm good at, what I enjoy doing. About me, I'm a single mother of one beautiful daughter and I am working on my degree in human and social services via an online University. I already have certification as a CNA, Teaching Assistant, first aid, and CPR. I spent many years working with children of all ages with mental and physical disabilities of all kinds in residential settings and as teaching assistant along side a special education teacher. I absolutely loved working in that type of environment because it was so rewarding to me. I have a really big family, so taking care of children and babies is also just a very natural way of life for me. I also have gained experience taking care of adults and the elderly when I got into nursing school, I realized that I loved that as well! Whatever your needs may be for your loved one, I am a very loving, caring, honest and dependable caregiver. I treat anyone I take care of like they are my family! How I would want to be treated with respect and love. I don't do this type of work for a paycheck, I do it because I love to take care of people, from infant to the elderly... It's just my calling.

I am a stay at home mom in Myrtle beach SC. I have two boys 9 and 17 months that turned in October and a 7 year daughter. I would love the opportunity to babysit at my house so that I could make a little extra money and have Playmates for my youngest son. My living room has been turned into a complete play area and I have everything needed to care for small children. I like for kids to be on a regular eat, play, sleep schedule. Typical day for a preschooler is breakfast, indoor play, outdoor play. Lunch then nap time. Snack after nap and then more playtime. I have care for 5 kids under six multiple times with pets!
