I was laid off in December due to a reduction in force at my company, and as I'm in between jobs, I'm looking to pick up some babysitting/nanny work. Usually, I work in marketing, and I graduated college one year early in 2018 from College of Charleston with a B.A. in English. I have babysat for children ages 18 months to 12 years. I have been a morning sitter, after-school sitter, date night sitter, and have even done overnight stays with the kids. I am comfortable helping with homework, doing art projects, playing outside, taking kids to activities, assisting with meal prep, bedtime/wake up routines, playing indoor games/with toys, and helping parents with grocery shopping, etc. I am also comfortable with pets, as I have a golden retriever of my own, and my family consistently had dogs and cats growing up. I have two younger twin siblings, so growing up, I was often responsible for them when my parents were away. I was a camp counselor at the YWCA for two years, where I supervised and entertained kids from ages 5-12. I am a mother of three children. (11yo boy, 8yo boy and 4yo girl) I have spent my time in motherhood as a stay at home mom/wife who handles the financials and all of the family plans. Many of my days are spent volunteering at the different schools, coaching various soccer and basketball teams and substitute teaching at their preschool. I have subbed in all classes at the church preschool from MMO 12-24months, 2’s, 3’s and 4K. I love being outside with children and exploring. We spend most of our summer days at the pool, beach, traveling on road trips, VBS, sports camps and reading to keep up with their AR points at school.
