I have worked with all ages but I especially love taking care of babies. I love children and it's very fulfilling to help families and be apart of the family growth. I have been watching children ages newborn-12 for the last 10 years. I am experienced with children with special needs, seeing as I have a younger brother with autism as well as I worked with an autistic child over the summer. I also am a frequent sitter for a few other families near me. I can do evenings, date nights, weekends, you name it, I can probably do it! I moved to Lyman 3 years ago from Arizona to care for my grandchildren. My youngest one started first grade this year. In addition to caring for my two young grandchildren, I have cared for the children for families of my church in Tucson from infancy to preschool. I love being able to connect with kids and help them in any way i can. I grew up being a middle child of 16kids and I had to help take care of the younger six since they were first born. I just moved to Greer Sc and i used to live in Asheville NC, i was born and raised there. I miss my siblings a ton but also miss them being smaller so anytime i can connect with children it’s like seeing my siblings again. I think its important to listen to the parents wants and the children’s needs because sometimes people don’t realize that just with a bit of patience and listening with their heart not just their ears can go a long way. Children just want to be seen and want to know that from you so when an individual can display that….the children’s needs feels more safe and that’s what it’s all about. My cousin & brother are special needs and him my grandpa live in Charlotte NC. I have taken care of my brother more than my cousin but i have watched our nanny Ashley take care of Chris for years. On Mondays every week i have college classes i attend so i won’t be available those days.

Hi, my name Annabel Holmes. I am a college graduate planning to pursue additional studies in the Fall of 2025. I am looking for a part-time nannying/babysitting position and I am able to work week nights and/or weekends. In addition to several years of non-regular babysitting and volunteer childcare experience, I have one year of experience working part-time as the lead nursery worker for an infant-toddler room, and I have three years of experience teaching and caring for children ages 1-6 in a Montessori preschool. I take delight in helping children explore and learn in their environment, and in using art and other open ended, creative activities to give children a chance to freely grow their interests and try new things. I grew up without TV and always encourage children towards activities which do not involve screens. I have many hobbies, a few of which include sewing, reading, crochet, learning languages, art, playing guitar, and learning about the natural world. Taking care of and lovingly nurturing children is a privilege which has taught me so much. I have experience in potty training babies, toddlers, and preschoolers and have worked with little ones at every stage of that journey.
