I am a firm believer in building children up and honoring their dignity and choice. I am upbeat and make safety my #1 priority. I have spent the last several years teaching in a variety of capacities, including Montessori and special education. Most recently, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at St. Joseph Academy. I align very much with the Montessori method, and this is how I approach childcare from infancy to teenage years. I am expecting my first baby in September. In the meantime, I am available part-time.

I have two daughters of my own that would be present with me. My firstborn is a year and a half old and my second is 3 months. I don’t have any nannying experience but I have a lot of babysitting experience. I have also been a chaperone for church events and a tutor for special education students. I enjoy my time with kids as they help me learn so much and I can teach them new things as well. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I do have a car but since I have two kids of my own the backseat is full and I would only be able to fit one older child in my front seat if I had to bring them somewhere.
