Hello, my name is Katherine Ramirez and I am 21 years old. I am a recent grad registered nurse who loves to babysit and care for kids whenever I am able to. I have worked at a nursery in a church on the weekends named the The Village and have babysat parents infant up to school age kids for 3 years now. I am looking for a part-time babysitting jobs on the days I’m not working as a nurse. I am also BLS trained and certified.

I love to actually interact with your children. I have extensive experience as a full and part time nanny, as well as being a live in nanny which included frequent overnights as well as international and domestic travel! I am CPR/First aid certified. I am also a CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician). I want your children to look forward to me coming to care for them and pride myself on being very interactive and attentive! I will never sit them down in front of a TV or tablet all day. I love to take them to the zoo, park, pool, or other fun places. I love being creative, making forts, playing games and getting outside! I have a van and can comfortably fit 5 car seats. My current family I started with in Nov 2017 caring for their 2 boys, 2 and 10 weeks when I started and they have added another since then and the boys are now 6.5, 4.5, and 3.5. I also adopted and have two daughters, one who just turned 4 and one who is 20 months! My parents are close by however and available to help with the girls some, but I have also had no problem with taking my 2 girls and the 3 boys to all kinds of outings and various activities! I would prefer to have my girls with me when possible, and it has worked great in my current position and the other few occasional sitter jobs I have done. I am very attentive especially in public places and have no problem taking all the kiddos out and about! The more the merrier! We have done pumpkin patch, zoo, parks, science center, splash pad etc! I have 16 years of experience as a child care provider as a sitter, nanny, and preschool teacher. I worked in my church’s infant and toddler nursery as the lead nursery worker every Sunday with birth to 3 year olds for over 7 years. I really have a passion for kids and dont watch children just to 'make money'. I have many years of experience, including numerous volunteering opportunities, with special needs children as well!

I am semi retired SAHM 🤣 with grown adult children now (1 girl 24, & 2 boys 23 & 16). The last one is 16 yo and just got him his drivers license! Whew!!. I do miss the baby & toddler stages to be honest. I have baby sat for friends and neighbors on numerous occasions as well as other Sittercity families since joining this Ap in 2017. I’m probably not going to be your regular go to sitter, but can maybe pinch hit on occasion.
