I am a dependable, caring, and patient caregiver with experience working with children in both healthcare and childcare settings. I am CPR certified and have one year of experience caring for pediatric patients as a CNA, which has given me the ability to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate while meeting children’s individual needs. In addition to my healthcare experience, I have volunteered in my church nursery, where I have cared for infants and young children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, play, and grow while providing families with reliable, trustworthy care. I am currently pursuing my degree in Elementary Education, with my classes offered online and in the evenings. While I am new to babysitting, I do have experience as a preschool assistant teacher where I facilitate child led learning during the school year and summer program. I am very well versed in coming up with tons of activities and crafts to keep kids entertained and engaged (especially without screen time!). Most of my childcare experience has been with ages 4-7, but I do have multiple younger siblings and cousins I have babysat in the past that were older! I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities, and I find it easy to adapt to the children and their interests as needed- I’m also very patient with them too. I’m really passionate about helping kids learn, and helping kids in general, and I am so grateful for any opportunity to gain experience in the field as I work towards my long term career goals. I can help with cooking, tidying up, homework, and laundry as well if needed! I have my own car too, and I am certified in infant and adult First Aid and CPR as well. I also have been fingerprinted and background checked as I have worked in the preschool setting consistently the past few years.

Care bio Hello! Let me tell you a little about myself. My husband, our 5 year old daughter, pets and I live in middle TN. We enjoy being active outside, hiking, making music and doing yoga. We are a rescue family and volunteer with a local dog rescue, pet sit and have rescues of our own. I have been working with children, as a nanny and a teacher, for over 19 years. I grew up teaching Sunday school and VBS then began babysitting in 5th grade. In 2008, I began my journey as a nanny. In 2012, I began teaching preschool. In 2016, I started teaching piano lessons. Hello!💕 I was a nanny for about 2-3 years for a loving family! I left to be a stay at home wife but now we are building a home and I miss being with kiddos!
