I live in Ashland City. I worked as a special education teacher for ten years, but left to stay at home with my 2 year old daughter. Times being what they are I am looking to supplement some income and have playmates for my girl. My daughter enjoys going places and being around a variety of ages. She also loves cats and dogs. I am a very recently retired speech- language pathologist with years a years of experience working with children from infancy through adulthood. I have experience working with children who have special needs including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, and physical limitations. I raised my own child who has ADHD and high-functioning autism, in addition to being an auntie to a niece who has autism and cerebral palsy and a nephew who has Aspergers. I also know sign language quite well and have used it in a professional capacity.
