Hi families big and small! I am 26yo and have been caring for children since I was 15. Shortly before I turned 18 and graduated high school, I worked at a Daycare for about 2 years. I continued to babysit after that job, employed by family for 2 years and I have also assisted as a marching band color guard coach for several high and middle school programs throughout middle Tennessee since 2019. My experience in childcare spans from infants, toddlers and school-age children, as I often assisted with different age groups weekly while working at the daycare. I have worked professionally as a preschool teacher on and off since 2008. My most recent position was held in 2024, working with infants. Over the course of my time as a preschool teacher, I have worked with children of all ages. During my time, I have gone through childhood education courses, as well as first aid/CPR courses, receiving my certification. In addition, I have experience working as a private nanny; mostly working with infants and toddlers. I have a lot of personal experience with pet sitting and pet caregiving, so I am comfortable with pets. Aside from being the main one who upkeeps my living space, I have a background in housekeeping. I spent some time working inside of a veteran home (assisted living) cleaning resident rooms and common areas with cross training in laundry, so I am comfortable with household chores. I have my own insured vehicle. I am willing to pass a background check. I do not smoke or drink. I do not have children yet, but I do hope to be a mother someday.
