I am currently a student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I am majoring in Special Education and minoring in ASL. I started babysitting 10 years ago when I was 11 for family friends and have since continued babysitting as well as working at a daycare, lifeguarding, and teaching kids ages 6 month+ how to swim. I have experienced running a daycare classroom with a max of a 22 to 1 ratio so taking care of several kids at once is no problem. I am energetic and like to do arts and crafts, go outside, music, and even some academics with the kids. I am CPR, First Aid, AED, Lifeguard, and WSI certified. I got out of the military when I had my daughter. I was a stay at home mom until my children could attend school, roughly 4 yrs. Worked as a Preschool TA with the Headstart Program. Switched to a Nursery Childcare Provider at a local Daycare so I could be with the babies. I missed being around them. I love seeing a child learn new things and figure out new skills. Especially with babies. It’s amazing to see them learn something for the first time. I can’t help but to get excited for and with them.
