Hello Family, I’m Jacinda Romo, and I’m excited to share a little about myself with you! I’ve been a nanny for over six wonderful years, and I truly cherish every moment spent with children. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, where I lived for 15 years before moving to Denver, Colorado, for the next decade. Recently, I returned to Texas, and it feels so good to be back home! My youngest sister is Deaf, Autistic, and has ADHD, which taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and unconditional love.  Currently, I’m transitioning from working a corporate job (recipe editing) to building a life of peace & health. I earned my bachelor’s in psychology from UC Davis and am now working toward my studio art degree (finally following my real dreams!). Earning ECE units is also a goal this year. I’m a visual artist & writer, and meditation is at the center of my life. I’ve studied Ayurveda at the Shakti School, and I love reading, writing poetry, singing, gardening, traveling, and being close to the earth. My loved ones tell me that I have a very maternal, warm nature.
