To be honest, I have a sliding scale where I have either donated my services or been paid substantially an hour depending on the family and event. Typically, if it is a shorter block of time or I’m providing materials and supplies, my hourly rate is higher. If it’s a longer day or parents go away or I travel with family, it’s may be a negotiated flat rate. PLAYbysitting rates as follows~ $30 ph @ 1 to 3 hrs. $25 ph @ 4 to 7 hrs. $20 ph @ 8 + hrs. ($40 ph for combined families)

I have three younger brothers and two younger sisters who I am very close with. Ages ranging from 3.5 to 21 years old. I come from a big family; I am number 3 out of 6 children and I have had the opportunity to watch and help raise my younger siblings. That gave me a lot experience working with children of all ages.
