I have been a nanny/babysitter off and on for the last 20 years as well as raising my own 2 children who are now young teens. I especially enjoy taking care of babies and toddlers and watching them learn and grow. I know some baby sign language which I love to teach to babies and toddlers so I can communicate better with them. My last nanny job was for a 6 month old who I took care of till he was 2. I like teaching them their ABC’s and 123’s and colors, shapes, etc and love when the little lightbulb go on in their head as the saying goes and they catch on and understand what I’m teaching them.Also so many educational shows for children now a days that can help them learn also and reading to them if they like to read. have experience working with children with physical disabilities such as but not limited to autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, physically challenged etc.. also some children with ADHD, depression, hyper, Learning disabilities, verbally challenged, mentally challenged. I’ve learned over the years, just because you deal with a certain circumstance before each child is different and therefore every circumstance is not the same.
