I am a dependable and experienced childcare provider with over 10 years of paid childcare experience, caring for children from infancy through teenage years. I have worked with newborns, toddlers, school-age children, pre-teens, and teenagers, including twins and multiple-child households. I have extensive experience caring for children with special needs, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and sensory sensitivities. Growing up as the oldest sibling in a family with multiple neurodivergent children, combined with my professional experience, has given me a calm, patient, and structured caregiving approach that prioritizes safety, emotional regulation, and clear routines. I am confident caring for infants, including feeding schedules, diapering, nap routines, and developmental play. I am also comfortable caring for sick children, following parent instructions closely while maintaining a clean and supportive environment. In addition to daily care, I regularly assist with: • Homework help and school routines • Age-appropriate educational activities • Creative play and structured enrichment • Light meal preparation and tidying related to childcare I am a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and have reliable transportation, allowing me to assist with school pick-ups, activities, and errands when needed. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time, ensuring each child receives attentive and individualized care. I am currently seeking a recurring or long-term position where I can build a consistent relationship with a family and become a trusted part of their child’s daily routine. Parents I’ve worked with describe me as reliable, patient, attentive, and communicative. I take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel supported and parents feel confident leaving their children in my care.

Hi, my name is Linda Montero. I have been working professionally with children since 2017. I have worked in drop off care centers, Monday thru Friday centers, I have worked in a 24-hour private school and have occasionally babysat for a number of families over the years. I have experience with children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. My strong suite is working with children 2 years old and up especially since I currently work full time as a Prek Assistant Teacher. I occasionally work early mornings as a nursery care worker at a local church as well. I am CPR, First Aid and AED certified. I have gone through a number of background checks. I am flexible, honest and schedule oriented. I am bilingual in Spanish and will teacher your child a phrase or two over time. I enjoy baking, arts and crafts, yoga and nature. I am comfortable meal prepping, cleaning and pet care as I have a number of my own. I have mild experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders and working with children that are non-verbal. I work well with caring for more than one child and will provide pictures throughout my time with your child. Based on your preferences I can provide age-appropriate crafts, baking time, and I use an app called Seek through National Geographic to help teach children about all the critters and plants within their own backyard. I hope you consider me as an occasional date night sitter or back up and look forward to speaking with you and learning about your family! Upon meeting I will ask all of your children's likes, dislikes, allergies and any additional information to provide the best childcare experience. Thank you!

Kids usually love me because I’m a responsible version of them, so you can bet we’ll be having a lot of “wear your helmet” and “no don’t touch that” fun. They’ve taught me things adults have trouble learning from each other, like listening and communicating. Their minds absorb things faster and they usually communicate their feelings well if you pay attention. They mimic everything they learn even if they aren’t aware of it so it’s wonderful watching them grow while teaching them right from wrong and really seeing the positive impact you’re making. Sort of like a big sister. I love relaxing and watching cartoons just as much as they do, but I love the feeling of teaching them something new, so I like to separate tv, school, and play time rather than just sitting them in front of a screen. I definitely use snacks and bike rides as motivation to learn/do chores when needed. My timeouts are called “silent seconds”, because we think about our actions in this house!

I have been working with children for the majority of my life, beginning with babysitting and moving through to becoming a school instructor. I started private nanny in 2019 and truly love it. I enjoy creating a bond with the families and children I work with. I love working with children and helping families because I like being someone that someone looks up and even depend on when they can’t depend on anyone else. When children love, they love so wholly and without judgement, and it can warm even the coldest of hearts. When a child bestows on you their cherished work of art, wrapping embrace, or loving words, your world gets a whole lot brighter. This is what I love to do and why. I am also cpr and first aid certified , I have references and experience with all ages but mostly ages infants to 10 years old. I have worked as a nanny, babysitter, and teacher so I have experience in all settings as well. I hope I’m a good fit for you and your family!

Hello, I'm Aliyah! I love children and would be honored to be considered! I can provide references (3) by request. I have worked at St. Andrews Children's Center and worked at Primrose School of Friendswood. I taught preschoolers aged three to four to write and recognize names and numbers, designed creative ways to decorate classroom "centers", worked with lead teacher to implement lesson plan, ensured classroom area was safe and free from hazards, and maintained written observations about childrens' personalities. I have babysat my niece and nephews for about 3 years now as well as several families from my school. They have ranged from ages 3 months to 15 years old. I love working with children and am always excited to see them. I am always willing to play games, watch their television shows, tutor them, or just have fun with them. I have also worked with several after-school programs at the YMCA and Boys and Girls club. There I tutored children as well as come up with physical activities after their homework. I have 13 years of professional childcare experience. Thank you again! I'm currently a nanny for a family but am available for weekends and date nights!

Hello. I have been an LVN for many years now and also have pediatric experience, both in a doctor's office and while babysitting infants and children in the home. For a few years, I did gain more experience, while being on board, with a nanny agency. Engaging with the infants and children was a thrilling experience. Presently, I am not working full time in Nursing, due to the precariousness of Covid. I am, though available, for occasional week day nights and weekend times. Child care is a part of my career, as I have a very maternal instinct that exudes love. I can appreciate parents wanting an experienced, loving, and conscientious sitter, as that is what I remember my parents hiring, when I was little. By being a caregiver/babysitter, this allows parents to take some time off for themselves, to relax and have some fun, knowing that their child/children are in the kind, patient, loving, and responsible hands of a qualified person. I enjoy this kind of child care, because it gives me the chance to help children learn and also have fun with a credible sitter/playmate who takes joy in sharing her spare time with the younger generation. What makes me good at what I do? I feel that being kind, young-at-heart, loving, patient, reliable, dependable, a good listener, gentle, attentive, teachable, warm, trustworthy, and punctual, are all characteristics that would give families/parents peace of mind, when leaving their pride and joy, with a mature individual! As I remember, "Scamper the Dog", was my favorite children's book, while in first grade. I adored that book! Favorite games I played were, "Chutes N' Ladders", "Candy Land", and hopscotch on the sidewalk with my girlfriends. Favorite activities as a child were: riding bikes with neighbor's children, playing hide and go seek, dressing up our dolls, especially Barbie - that was really fun, watching American Bandstand on tv. Remember Frankie Valle? Oh...that voice!!! I am CPR, First Aid, choking maneuver, and A.E.D. certified. Am experienced in giving medications and medical emergencies! Parents, when placing your posting, please, please write your "zip code" somewhere in the posting. This is very important to me, as I don't like driving too far, especially at night. I look forward to meeting new families, through this website. Thank you and happy babysitting to all. :-) P.S. It would be so helpful, parents, if you shared what specific pets are in your home. :-).

My personality can be described as fun-loving, caring, and trustworthy. Working with children brings me joy and allows me to make a positive impact on their lives. My experience with childcare began at the age of 11 when a neighbor asked me to watch his three boys (ages 3, 4, & 6) whenever necessary. During my free time, I enjoy activities such as baking, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. Above all else, my primary concern is ensuring that your children are safe and well-cared for. Some of my key skills include patience, empathy, and creativity.
