Kids usually love me because I’m a responsible version of them, so you can bet we’ll be having a lot of “wear your helmet” and “no don’t touch that” fun. They’ve taught me things adults have trouble learning from each other, like listening and communicating. Their minds absorb things faster and they usually communicate their feelings well if you pay attention. They mimic everything they learn even if they aren’t aware of it so it’s wonderful watching them grow while teaching them right from wrong and really seeing the positive impact you’re making. Sort of like a big sister. I love relaxing and watching cartoons just as much as they do, but I love the feeling of teaching them something new, so I like to separate tv, school, and play time rather than just sitting them in front of a screen. I definitely use snacks and bike rides as motivation to learn/do chores when needed. My timeouts are called “silent seconds”, because we think about our actions in this house!

Hello. I have been an LVN for many years now and also have pediatric experience, both in a doctor's office and while babysitting infants and children in the home.
