Candace was extremely helpful to my family getting my sons to and from their activities. She is very reliable and a great communicator. She worked with us over several months, and always gave us plenty of heads up with any schedule changes, and was flexible to our changes as well. She's a great influence/role model for any kid.

We needed a sitter temporarily while I started a new job and my wife transitioned out of hers. Lizette was the perfect fit for our changing schedule. When choosing Lizett, we invited her to our home for a tour of the house & meet-and-greet with our toddler. She showed up with a mask, a notebook and a pen for note taking. We didn't ask her for any of those, but were definitely glad she did because our minds were on other things. We tried our best to give Lizett a heads up about upcoming changes in schedules, and she was really great with flexibility. While we were both at work, Lizett sent pictures of our child throughout the day. Again, we didn't think to ask about that, but were definitely glad she did. We were grateful to know all the different activities our toddler did throughout the day. If we needed her for a longer period in our season, we would have definitely continued to hire Lizett. If we ever need another change in our family situation, Lizett will be the first for us to contact. Lastly, a bit of a "cherry on top", Lizett speaks Spanish, and she did communicate sometimes in Spanish to our child. We are grateful for that too.

I am a caring, responsible, and bilingual (Spanish/English) caregiver with nearly 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to school-age. My background combines both professional and personal experience — as a babysitter, nanny, Au Pair, and proud mom of two wonderful boys (now 8 and 9). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree, which, while not directly related to childcare, reflect my commitment, discipline, and professionalism. Families can count on me to be reliable, organized, and attentive in every detail of their child’s care. My childcare journey started early. When my youngest brother was born, I gained hands-on experience as a teenager. In 2007, I became an Au Pair in Falls Church, VA, caring full-time for a 5-year-old girl and later a newborn baby boy. Since then, I’ve continued to provide childcare for many families, from infants as young as a few months old to energetic preschoolers and elementary-age children. As a mom myself, I understand the importance of patience, safety, and nurturing a child’s growth at every stage. I enjoy creating a warm environment with activities like reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, board games, and simple educational activities that encourage creativity and development. I also love preparing healthy meals and snacks that children enjoy. I am CPR and First Aid certified and can provide excellent references upon request. Families describe me as reliable, nurturing, and fully engaged with their children. I always keep open communication with parents so they feel confident and supported. My availability is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. I am seeking a family who values a loving, professional caregiver to support their child’s daily routine, growth, and happiness.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Melissa to take care of our 1-year old son. She worked as our full-time nanny for three months. She is warm, dependable, and truly attentive. She consistently stayed on top of our baby’s feeding and sleep schedule and even prepared healthy meals for him. Melissa was amazingly patient—especially since he wasn’t sleep trained—and she kept him happily engaged with creative play and interaction, with no screen time. If we ever need a babysitter again, Melissa will definitely be our first choice.

I love working with kids. I’ve been babysitting for over six years and also gained experience caring for children at a play center. I enjoy playing, coloring, singing, dancing—anything that brings a smile to a child’s face. I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas in May, and am working towards becoming a pediatrician. Babysitting is a wonderful way for me to continue building skills that will prepare me for that career.

Arriana R.

Hi! My name is Arriana, I have always been passionate about working with kids and am about to end a contract after 6 months with an amazing family. I have two siblings of my own who I looked after as a kid but they’re now both older (ages 12 and 18 now). Most of my babysitting experience is from watching family friends and siblings but i've worked in two separate daycares prior to the one im at currently as well. I am looking to babysit for one family as it is easier for me physically due to having a dynamic disability but it doesn't stop me from caring for the child nor stop me from doing my job to the fullest in any way and id be more than happy to talk further with any family interested in me as a sitter about it! I love every kid i care for like my own, I will always put the child's safety above all but still have fun with the child. A large perk of mine is that I am extremely well knowledgeable on the way a child's brain works and develops, so i'm extremely patient and know ways to help kids struggling with emotional regulation or "bad behavior" but I personally dont call it “bad behavior” because most times kids are trying to communicate and dont know how to do so. I have worked with kids with autism and adhd, and I myself am also neurodivergent so i'm really good at understanding it. I can work with both boys or girls, and im perfectly fine with changing diapers or helping potty train if needed. I truly have a passion for this line of work, I just sadly got hit with an illness that impacted my life making it difficult to enjoy what I do without pushing myself to far physically. I am CPR certified and have all the certifications needed to work in a daycare so i've done: maltreatment training, EPI pen training, seizure training, food training, proper protocols, alongside more.

So far so good, she started today and I can see she has a genuine care for my child. We even had an initial meet and greet before she started which I appreciated.

My two boys adored her. Our youngest typically screams when my wife leaves, but he was very comfortable around her making our leave painless.

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am a dependable, patient, and caring babysitter with many years of hands-on childcare experience. I genuinely love working with children and creating a safe, happy, and loving environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person caring for their children, and I always strive to be someone both parents and kids can feel completely comfortable with. I am very attentive and always make safety my top priority while still making sure children are having fun, staying engaged, and feeling loved during my care. Whether it’s helping with meals, playtime, bedtime routines, homework, keeping little ones entertained, or simply being a calm and supportive presence, I always put my full attention into the families I work with. I have experience caring for children of different ages and am comfortable watching multiple children at once. I understand that every child has a different personality and different needs, so I always try to be patient, understanding, and adaptable to what helps each child feel happiest and safest. For added peace of mind, I am CPR and First Aid certified and also have background checks available directly on my profile. I take being trusted with someone’s children very seriously and always work hard to provide reliable, responsible, and loving care. I also have several strong references from families I’ve worked with and would be more than happy to share them upon request. I would love the opportunity to help care for your little ones and become someone your family can rely on and trust!
