Hello! My name is Rose, and I would love the opportunity to speak with you to see if I would be a good fit for your family’s needs as a nanny. I realize that choosing the right nanny is a very important decision because you need to feel confident that you are entrusting your children’s care to the right person. I believe that I not only offer valuable experience with caring for children, I also offer trustworthiness and dependability. I’m not your typical candidate as I am 49, and my main experience comes from all the years I spent as a stay-at-home mom for my three children who are now young adults:) I love being a mom! I loved being there for my kids. I believe the greatest value I bring to being a nanny is all that I learned from raising my kids! In addition to caring for my own children, I have also worked in the nursery at church over the years as well as taught Sunday school to toddlers. This past fall, I cared for my best friend’s three young children for two months. I did simple meal prep, play outings, assisted with dressing, bath time and bedtime, took them to and from school, helped with schoolwork, etc. I have cared for them for extended periods of time off and on since 2019–so I’ve seen them through infant through toddler and older stages;) I even potty trained the youngest! Currently, I have been nannying through nannying apps, and it has gone very well! I truly want to go where I can help the most for my next position. Being a nanny isn’t just a job for me. As a Christian, it’s a way for me to help others and bring glory to God:) I believe I am very responsible, self-motivated, and trustworthy. I don’t smoke. I have reliable transportation. My 12 years of experience includes working 5 years as certified teacher, being a mother of 3 children of my own, day cares, tutoring, and in-home child care with a wide range of ages. I believe in helping children grow both in life-skills and academics through fun, compassion, patience, creativity, and structure.
