Hi! My name is Lizette and I've been a sitter since high school! Occupation: I am currently a high school English teacher. I absolutely LOVE my job and have a passion for teaching. Previous Sittercity Jobs: In the summer of 2021, I was a full-time nanny for a 2-year-old boy. I watched him from 8-5:30 M-F. We went to the park every day, read, gardened, baked, made art, and played lots of baseball. I helped keep the home tidy and made sure to communicate with parents as needed. Summer of 2019, I watched a 10-month-old from 8-12pm. I was in charge of changing, entertainment, nap time, lunch, and breakfast occasionally. Personal Experience: I have two younger siblings who are twins and are eight. I’ve been helping my parents care for them since they were born! Outside of watching my siblings or cousins, I’ve also done date nights, and morning watch, and supervised game nights through a nanny agency in Austin. Through this agency, I also worked in various church nurseries, which allowed me to gain childcare experience with various ages. I have also worked at a YMCA summer camp as a counselor and child watch attendant so I know plenty of crafts if your kids like art. This job allowed me to work with kids from newborn to 12 years old. I enjoy playing outside, video games, and board games. I’m also a writer so my storytelling is pretty imaginative!
