I have worked in preschools and with individual families receiving cpr and first aid training and extensive knowledge in child development. In each setting I was able to develop long term relationships with families with children from ages 12wks to 12years. I am strongly focused on making sure children have the best early childhood experiences because these moments really do shape their lives. Hi! My name is Amy! I'm very passionate about working with young children (0-5)! I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and taking them outside to play! Arts and crafts and sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I really enjoy getting to know each of the children I work with and like to come up with activities to do with them based upon their interests. I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University.
