 I have been working with infants and children for the last 10 years and I also have three children of my own. I have my Associate's degree in Psychology and I am continuing my education in hopes to become an Adolescent Clinical Therapist. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I love working with kids on a personal level by learning their personality. I use a hands-on approach to gain the trust of both parent and child. Providing childcare isn't just a job, it's accepting to play a large role in a child's life and help guide them as they grow and develop. I love fun and smiles but I also like to promote educational activities appropriate to the child's age (for example going over the alphabet or doing puzzles with a toddler, or practicing tummy time with an infant!) I strive to become not only their babysitter, but one of their best friends. I have a genuine love and passion for kids and I have realized this is my life's calling. I think that providing childcare would be the best job for me while I am continuing my education because it's doing what I love, working in the direction I plan to go with my career and also allows me to keep my son with me while I work, which gives him the opportunity to interact with other children. I have excellent writing and verbal skills, my specialty is drawing and arts & crafts, skilled hider, below average seeker, animal lover, excellent board game player, excellent story time reader and swing pusher, great at cuddling and I know the tickle monster very well, excellent boo-boo kisser, and I may not be the best singer or dancer but that doesn't stop me from putting on a show. I don't mind embarrassing myself for a laugh (well for the kids at least)! It's so easy to make them smile and I absolutely love doing it.

My favorite part of nannying and working with kids is being able to watch as they form their own personality's and see and help their minds grow! | also love being able to help parents with a little extra support! I have experience working with kids ages 0-5 as well as elementary age but I prefer the babies! I do have daycare experience so multiple kids is fine! I currently have 2 certificates pertaining to childcare, as well as my First aid/CPR certification which I can provide proof of upon request!
