Hello! My name is Olivia. I am currently attending Radford University, I am majoring in Elementary Education. I am planning to get my Masters's degree in Special Education. I am home for the summer and in need of some extra money to start saving. I used to work at a local daycare. I was mainly put in the three-year-old room as an afternoon lead I just was not happy with the pay. I love kids. I have a lot of cousins who are in elementary school/prek. I sit them often. As I got older I really enjoyed spending time and providing a fun and safe environment for children. I grew up with younger cousins and I started sitting around the age of 13. I am flexible with elementary children as well. I interned at my Elementary school during my junior year of high school. I was placed in the fourth grade and I loved it. I find that I have the patience and I can be very involved with their interests. I enjoy planning activities and more to help the kids learn and have a bit of fun as well. I also have my degree in psychology that was focused around child centered studies. Every child is a unique individual and should be treated as such. After my heels and Montessori and receiving my Montessori, infinite and toddlers certification, I also believe in following the child. Yes routine and structure is important. Previously work with developmentally disabled children as a group home manager. Left to adopt my daughter and be a stay at home mom. My daughter, now 16 has ADHD and is on the autism spectrum. I have a bachelors degree in human services and I am currently taking a break from working on my masters degree (3 classes to complete) in Child and Adolescent Development. For the last 12 years I have run an animal rescue so I also have experience with animals.

When I was back home, before I moved I would always watch my family members kids and my friends siblings. I have babysat more children 3 and older but I do have some experience with children younger.
