Parents that wish their kids could be more active and outdoors are also welcome. :) (I also enjoy indoor activities, though!) I believe as much as kids can stay outside, playing, and distracted, the better, so they don't get bored or start missing their parents. I love to be out with kids, playground, pool, playing sports, riding a bike, chalking, playing tag, hide and seek, and enjoying the nice weather - if possible! Ps: If your kids like to learn new things, and some Portuguese (I'm from Brazil), I will be more than happy to teach them!

Hi! My name is Amy! I'm very passionate about working with young children (0-5)! I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and taking them outside to play! Arts and crafts and sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I really enjoy getting to know each of the children I work with and like to come up with activities to do with them based upon their interests. I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University. Volunteered at a Sunday/Friday Private School for the past four years. I can work immediately. Full time, part time; you name it! Available weekdays and weekends, 8 am till overnight if needed. Can be flexible with timings. I am CPR certified. I know how to use an EpiPen. Won’t be able to do pick up/drop off. $35 an hour would be ideal. Open to negotiations!

Hello, My name is Davia Ford and I am 25 years old. Currently I am a professional ballet dancer with Roanoke Ballet Theatre. I have been nannying/babysitting as a paid position for about 7 years and I am experienced in caring for a variety of children from infants to twelve years.
