Hello! This is Carolina✨I was a teacher back in my country, in Mexico . I used to work in a school with children and i also worked with toddlers. I have a degree in education that i completed back in mexico. I’m 28 years old and I’ve been working with children for 5 years already! I moved from California where i was taking care of 3 kids, they’re 3, 5 and 8. I took them to school and pick them up, prepare food, taking care when they were sick, playing games, get them ready for bed and shower time. I’m active, lovely and careful person. I enjoy spending time with kids and teaching my native language, which is Spanish is one of the activities that usually people ask me to do. I also help with homework and keep the house clean and organized.

I became a caregiver because I have always had a love for helping others. Through babysitting I love to come up with fun activities to do with the children and watch their imaginations run wild while creating fun and new games. I have been watching children of all ages for the past 5 years and I have made many wonderful connections with the parents and children. I truly see babysitting not so much as a job but as a way to help make any child's day more fun. I am CPR/AED/ First Aid Certified. I am also a nationally certified Patient Care Technician. Along with babysitting, I worked in my churches nursery every Sunday from March 2022-June of 2023, watching children of all ages.

I have volunteered at my church's nursery for about 4 years and have grown to love caring for children. Being able to watch them learn thing about themselves and become their own person is so special and such a unique milestone that I help to provide. I want to better learn how to care for children in more roles than I did at my church and love to help provide assistance within the house. I can meal prep (if shared foods their children like), run errands, do laundry, etc. I also love being outside and going to parks and on walks will be a must if that's okay with the parents. I'm currently a full-time student but have pretty good flexibility within my schedule as I just got done with an internship at the VA State Capitol! I look forward to any opportunity I get!
